Reporting harassing tags and signatures

....Korpg what happened in that "Alexandrite" thread? I know the fact your posting this is because of what was going on in there before the mods hit it. So i'd like to know what happened.

A certain poster has an altered image of myself on his signature.

Plus, there is no report button for neither signatures or tags for harassment. That needs to be changed.

I have a feeling if that were made possible everyone would report everyone for everything always! Someone would say "Your Garuda is about to kick my screen and I find that offensive..." Anyone can be offended by anything. I always say that ya gotta be able to laugh at yourself, if you can't your taking life and the net waaaaaay too seriously.

Well gl... but I don't think many will support you on this because:

1: many many people like to make sigs that are bad quotes from other posters in this forum (they don't want to lose the ability to do that)

2: many people already don't like you (from what I've seen) and thus won't support you (fyi im not one of those people... I nether like or dislike you)

The only problem with your statement is that I never released that picture to the public. The picture was on a private network for my family, which I have deleted since, because of the lack of personal security on that website.

But people who actually take pictures from a private network to alter it for their own personal amusement is slander, harassment, and libel.

I never gave anyone permission to even see my picture, with the sole exception of my family.

I definitively did not give anyone permission to alter my pictures in any way.

1) A picture being stolen from a "private" source is an issue with the source.
2) People don't need your permission to alter your pictures, take pictures of you, or even post pictures of you in any public form. Unless it is altered in a derogatory fashion and as far as I know what was done to said picture when it was turned into a meme isn't illegal or derogatory by definition.


Also how is reporting the OP of a topic not the same as reporting the tags themselves since technically the tags belong to the OP and can be edited by the OP's author.

Does it offend you somehow? It's not like it's you in th picture or anything. Even if it was, you uploaded that picture to the internet on the first place so you must have been proud of it.

you sure? i do seem to remember a little spat about it ALL over KI a while back. so at no point in time was the image ever posted in a insecure forum or site and you ascertain that the only way to have acquired said image was through illegal means?

There is a way to report harassing posts, but there is no way to report harassment in the form of tags and signatures.

Is it possible to make a report button for both tags and signatures?

Disclaimer: all tags posted on this thread will be deleted if I think it doesn't involve the topic on hand. At least I have the power to do that for any topics I create.

Just click the post report button for any of that user's post in the thread where it first happened.
