I found the 25 bottled pixie trial to be one of the stupidest things I've done in this game. It should be called "Run from Meriphataud Mountains (S) to Grauberg (S) 25 times".
You can do slimes trial for dark weather in Dynamis now, as for any other trial involving dark weather you're still pretty SoL.
Well, it made Pixies appear in the present. Also, it was better then having a trial involving more light damage kill shots... that took hours, whereas the Pixie trial took very little time.
Of course, since I'm a White Mage it was mostly Recall-Meriph -> Warp -> Op to Grauberg -> Run -> Get drop from party helping you -> Repeat.
Remember the 7000 kill-shot from relic TOM?
Here is the answer from SE for ya: NO!

Hmm working on trials is annoying, but I never really felt like it was a waste of time. Break out an NPC and level them with you. Plus, at this point the end results for all the trials are really "tasty". I love my magic def down for my blu. I'm just wondering if I get ACC sword would my physical spell damage go up? Or should I stick with STR trial?
Stick to STR, DEX sword is just if you're having accuracy issues (which means on most mobs inside Abyssea and on old content outside it won't get used very often if you can cap without it).
I do most of my trials in Abyssea so leveling up my NPC is impossible (not that it can gain levels in the first place since I haven't done the quest for it).
