not to sound like an ungrateful prick, but you don't get a 'thank you' for attempting to fix something that you broke/destroyed yourself. SE created this problem, now its up to them to fix it.

Maybe they'll earn a 'thank you' if they do a good job on the new transfer options.

Generaly i would agree, but its true in that statment. Im aware it sounds cold, but its the truth of what happened.
