SKIP CS Option PLEASE!

what a bunch of whiners . Sounds like the only literature most of you have read outside game is "Mein Kampf" judging by the amount of fascist totalitarian hate in your posts.

How does anyone having the option to skip a cutscene effect your gameplay?
Wait wait wait, you guys aren't annoyed by people wanting a skip CS option, you're annoyed by the fact that not everyone plays this game for the lolstory.

If you want to play an RPG go play one.
There's a lot more to MMO's than the story, and last I checked there wasn't a requirement on the game's box that said
"Must watch cutscenes or gtfo"

I like FFXI for a lot of reasons. The story isn't one of them. If I want to read literature, trust me it won't be the 1st grader content this game offers.

I feel sorry for the people who actually hate on others for not being entertained by content that is probably written for a 13 year old.

It's so sad to realize that you definitely failed to understand what a RPG is, or a MMORPG which is the extention of the RPG concept.

Games that emphasize plot and character interaction over game mechanics and combat sometimes prefer the name storytelling game.

Personally, I'm glad that the level caps and restrictions for old content have been lifted so I can bring my girlfriend along, she can enjoy the story and we don't have to deal with power gamers who just want rewards getting pissy that FFXI isn't a day job for us.
