    You realize, when we get to level 99, there will be no more Ts or above.

    I don't think there are any more ITs to a level 90 either, but I could be mistaken.

    The level cap is the same for both players and mobs, nothing is above level 99. So, we are going to be stuck at EMs and below at 99.

    plenty of mob check VT-IT now. all those mobs they added for GoV ( toramai canal, feiyin at least). they are level up to 97 I think, those pages that give the highest exp. Plus there are other mobs they added in old zones ( for skill up purpose) before the skill up updates. there are VT mobs plenty in [S] zones.

    There's no hard cap at 99. This game already has NPCs that are about level 120. I seriously doubt there would be any problems in adding enemies that are above level 99.

    As an aside, why in the kitten's tits do people like Bluffalo so well? Just because they're right next to a book? Do they give +10% experience because they're so fat? Because the same people who hate ruby lights hate all other forms of efficiency? I couldn't make a worse thing for 12-ish melee to efficiently wail on than a Paladin that uses AoE Plague if I tried.

    I am down with Sandsweepers, though. Meltdown's effects on a horrible group are hilarious to watch from my not-so-secret hiding spot within a Martello.

    Not when the other 17 people in the alliance have one atma slot filled with one horrible atma and I'm hiding in the nearest Martello! My thought process regarding pick-up groups is basically "How much cruor and experience can I gain while mostly doing something other than playing FFXI, given the other 5-17 individuals present think of math as witchcraft?"

    Mobs in Abyssea do not simply respawn, they are replaced by higher leveled mobs that just appear the same. So something that is EP with eventually build up to VT and something that is DC will build up to be IT. I'd imagine they'd just raise the potential levels of certain mobs.

    This is why is you've ever ran through where a PT had left a few minutes before, you will see most of the mobs despawn and repop, they were resetting.

    IIRC, someone did some messing around and discovered that the highest level possible was 255, it's just unattainable.
