If anything, inflation should be happening due to people selling tons of items to NPCs more than any before. Back in the day it was RMT doing this, but now the average player sells a LOT of items to NPCs for a lot of gil. 34K Dark rings, anyone?

You would think with all the normal players selling things to NPCs we would've seen a lot of inflation, but we haven't. Somehow, consumables remain at stable prices. All the best things in the game are free, getting adequate gear from the AH is more affordable than ever.

you are right 100+ fishers have wanted something like this but what good is it to be able to make decient gill if prices sky rocket.. Then the "decient" gill you were making isnt so good anymore.

What bait has to do with anything IDK.. 80/80/80 item slots while not in mog.. minnow/ sinking minnow are easily purchased at 3 boats and 3 guilds. So if the price is high at one... actually you bring up a great point.. Now that I think about it.. Last few times I went to fish them i had to run arround to find some that wernt crazy over priced.. SO just wait till it is a problem and you will be able to tell because you wont be able to find low priced ones from NPC. People camping the guilds with mules to but as many as they can when the store opens.. I can see it now.. 10k per lure on AH since you should be able to get at least 2 fish per lure, people will be fine taking 1/2 of your profit.

The price of Light crystals did the same thing. 12-15k a stack when you can make 32-35k ish per stack. And good luck farming light eles was always mules on those too.

I get it though that is your server friend trolln me so you have to back em up reguardless of how empty an arguement they have. Not seeing a problem on one server isnt really what I would call proof of anything. Refusing to see how this is similar to the rusty cap exploit is also not my problem.

when I 1st started on rusty caps was only like 20-30 people there at any given time. Light crystals were still a low price.. then over night things change. 250 people in zone... Not sayn when just sayn if left unchecked it will happen. Deny it all ya want.. where ever a game has an exploit.. people will abuse it and ruin it for everyone else. Argue that...

But yes I'm so horrable for feeding trolls.. sayn more then once how they are so right in the hope they would stop trolln but no.. the person just wants to argue anything I have to say. I get it really.

Seeing how low leves are soloable and with level sync alli book burns, not needing the very best gear at every level and not to mention the other half the old gear like SH and hauby were made with mats that came from NMs or BCNM. There is also the fack that more gear now for low levels can be bought of a NPC which is fine since you won't be in it long. I been NPCing or just not pulling out of a box mats that a year and a half ago I would slap my self for doing.

Its different this time around since those that are not fish botting have the same chance to bring gil into the system. Fish bots and fish are not the fastest way to make gil anymore. Its better now that if you didn't bot you had to choose fishing or playing the rest of the game. Really just exping is free gil with just doing the Dom ops pages you can make enough gil to pay for tools and food.

Your worried about fishing guess what 200k other players can pull gil out of thin air at a whim. No matter how much it goes up farming is easier then ever and you don't even have to fight over the good farming spots anymore. People used to complain over 50 mil SH or what not, due to simply they were just to lazy to farm since everything was going for higher prices.

Shows how little you know. You most definately can give the fish away to friends with fishing LV38/40+ that can have fish gutted. You dont need serpent rumors to obtain the shoot/silk. But yes I did help the 1st 2 friends with the guild fish as well. Not at all hard.

You are correct as well raven. Are far too many ways to get alot of gill from NPCs. The main difference is that bots never sleep or stop fishing other then to sell the fish or resupply lures. Real people that NPC aby items are <taking a break> many hours of the day. Also geting 1-2 drk rings an hr.. isnt un herd of but wouldnt bet on it. AoE farming may be but then how many other people want in on it...

I have also sold many dark rings and other various aby items to NPCs.. Do I think it helps the game in the long run.. Not really... Not sure why SE would do this either.. Eventually the decient gill players get now from NPCs.. might not be so great anymore.. when the price of things you buy increase 2x..5x.. and so on but the price of that you sell for gil isnt increasing.. Then people will go wtf.. why is this happening... Just like before..

Leveling fishing to 100, or even just 78 is all you need, is no time at all spent as you can do it while getting the GP. The only way to get an ebisu quickly is to buy the ebisu rod. Assuming you already have ebisu rod to fish ebisu fish for you, the hurdles to getting ebisu rod in order of most time required to least:
1) 95k GP(about a month)
2) getting lv 100 fishing(about 3 weeks, but can get GP at same time)
3) waiting 2 weeks for 10 fish cap to wear if it's new character
4) getting the ebisu items(will take much longer if no ebisu and having to buy all fish)
So minimum 6-7 weeks.
This is much different than any mule with 0 fishing skill going out to rabao and pulling up 1M gil. If you can't see the difference then something is wrong with your eyes.
