I use the game with Steam, the problem is that I run the FFXI config, change the settings but nothing happens. I'm telling you how I have it configured.

    General:

    x Enable MIP Mapping

    Screen Size:

    Overlay Graphics Resolution - 1600 x 900

    Background Resolution - 1600 x 900

    Textures:

    Texture Compression - Uncompressed

    On Screen Maps - Uncompressed

    Effects:

    x Enable Bump Mapping

    Environmental Animation - Smooth

The game looks really pixelated with a very low resolution. I try to change the settings but nothing happens... :/

Like I said, that is an invalid entry, and it's a bug that it's listed at all. The only valid options are at the top:

    256x256
    512x512
    1024x1024
    2048x2048

You can actually use other entries. You just had to edit the values directly in the registry before they recently added them to the drop-menus. I used 2048/1536 and 1024/768 for years before I got my LCD, after that I used 3840/2160 and 1920/1080 until I got tired of the framerate drops in some abyssea camps and I switched it to 1:1 at 1920/1080.

Now, there may be a bug with them not writing properly to the registry--that's why I suggested to double check the registry keys to make sure it is taking them. If they aren't saving properly...just double click them and put in the right values.
