I have a learning disability and at times It is hard for me to see every error. But i can't say more or it would look like I'm playing victem. If the ps3 had a spell checker that would help me out tons.

Let me get this straight, you have a learning disability but, the rest of us, who have learned better are the ones with the problem? Also, gear swapping has been around forever. Just because all you did was exp parties, where most people didn't bother to waste their money on multiple gear sets (cause that would be completely idiotic, even more-so these days) when leveling up (inevitably obsoleting those gear sets and having to buy more gear, just to level up) doesn't mean it didn't exist and was main stream once you hit cap.

Also, lol @ using the ps3 as your primary (only?) means to access the internet.

i'm not that bad of a person I just dislike the assumptions yall have on effeciency. I've done alot if stuff in poor gear.

Efficiency* isn't an assumption. The difference between my ninja before I had adequately geared it and now are obvious, in every aspect. Also, I'm sure all the things you've done in poor gear, I've done better in better gear. This isn't even about the individual pieces of gear or flaunting accomplishments, it's about making a mockery of those who refuse to even attempt to get better, for whatever reason.

Using your "learning disabilities" as a crux to excuse yourself, while you try to elevate/fool yourself into thinking that you are anywhere near as good a player who has taken the time to learn such things, is truly worthy of the /facepalming this thread was created for.

The difference between you NOT gear swapping and me gear swapping is the difference between a WIN and a LOSS in MANY situations. I can't count how many times PDT set on WAR has lead to a quick and easy win, specially in things outside of Abyssea where you can't count on Reraise over and over and over and over.

1) Learn how to quote.
2) Did it ever occur to you that you're the last one to die because you're under-performing so much that the enemy doesn't care that you're there? That's called not being a threat. Maybe, just maybe, if you brought your damage up to theirs by, oh I don't know, gear swapping (like a semi-decent player at least), then no one would die because you're no longer wasting a slot in the party?

I'll play a card from my own files. Years back while leveling BLM in Garlaige Citadel, basement, along the walls on beetles. I ended up casting warp rather than a nuke. I didn't notice until I was in Jueno.

The party had a nice chuckle.

Honestly, i couldn't care less if people gear swap or not. I can choose to not surround my self by them just as they can choose to not be around people who do enjoy gear swapping.

I can give you names of people on the game, on Asura specifically, I know are better than me, and they've been playing the job for a portion of the time I have. It makes me furious, but Xeth has done more than I have in like 5% of the time I have. The guy is a monster.

Am I right in assuming this is not your first char from 2004? Only reason I ask is that you're rank 6 and only story line that you've completed is ASA...

Same character. No reason to do any more missions, got sky access. Rest of that mission line doesn't help me in any way, nor do I care about any of the storyline in this game beyond CoP. Notice all of my stuff is done to the point I have access to everything, other than Dynamis wins, again, which at this point in the game are next to useless. (MNK feet don't drop from xarc).

Did I say you were the best? No, but it's interesting how your mind went there, when I mentioned nothing regarding you being better than anyone else.

If you don't like trying at something you put time into, that's your problem. Me? I like getting better everyday.

I am trying to be better at many things. Better at my work, so I may earn that promotion or raise to better support my family. To be a better husband to my wife, and a better father to my daughter. That's really my only goals.

Maybe at some point I will be the best? That's my goal. I mean, what's YOUR goal for playing the game anyway?

To pass the time, to relax from the day to day of real life.
