there is a second option, SE nerfing the NPC prices of the Armors by 90% (like they did with The blood, Bugard skins, Remedy, Yagudo/Orc/Quadav weapons from Demons/Etc).
Thus making Cruor worthless.
I see it happening.

not a tin-foil hat wearer, but you can't deny there is a lot of mindless, time-consuming repitition crap they makes us do for simple rewards.

I'm concerned that a direct conversion of curor to gil might cause a resurgence or RMT in the game. I'm rather happy with the fact that I have not gotten a RMT tell since the lvl 85 cap.
What the heck is curor anyways? Is like like crour curour and curur? I see people talking about it all the time but just can't figure it out![]()
~ The OF motto ~
If someone has more gil than me, they bought it.
If someone outclaims me, they're botting.
If someone is more successful than me, they cheat.
Cruor to Gil?
Seriously? Don't kid yourself.
Square won't do this because gil isn't part of the Abyssea world, right? I'm trying to think off-hand, but there are no quests that result in a gil reward, and monsters don't drop gil. I could just be having a dumb moment, but I think its one of the role-playing universe things. No gil in Abyssea.
On the note of gil...
I hear that Blizzard will be implementing an auction house for Diablo 3 wherein you can sell your ingame goods and gold for real life currency. Blizzard will be taking a 10% cut. It's interesting to see how it will play out. Quite a bold and proactive approach to the RMT market.
