Relic/Empyrean Weaponskills

I'm not sure if this is the place for it, I couldn't find anywhere for ingame suggestions, so I apologize if it isn't. My suggestion was, if there was any way to, maybe make these weapon skills available without the relic or Empyrean weapons, similar to the mythic weapon skills. I don't quite understand how you can suddenly unlearn something by not using a certain weapon. Just my thoughts.

Adding in the ability to use these WS natively would remove the point of the alternative, easier-to-obtain options that are already available to obtain the weapon skill.

In the case of the relic weapon skills, Scars of Abyssea Tier 2 NMs have a chance of dropping weapons that allow relic WS under a latent effect (use 13 WS for one charge of the relic weapon skill).

In the case of empyrean, plain weapons with only DMG/Delay and the weapon skill attached are available through Trials of the Magians DMG path.

As the above person has mentioned. They already have these alternative means to obtain these weapon skills and by giving them to everyone they invalidate these items. This applies even more-so to the WoE weapons as they would have no purpose whatsoever if everyone was given the emp ws.

well relic ws's were the most powerfull weaponskills (at least some of them) before abyssea was released.
if SE would give the ws's to everyone naturally it would make relics totally useless/unnecessary.

What if after building the WoEs version of the empyreans you could then start a quest similar to Unlocking a myth quests where by doing so many weaponskills would unlock the weaponskill for use on any weapon, it wouldnt hurt empyreans at all since the aftermath on them is so insane.

I don't think SE should implement the relic/empyrean ws to a trial so you can use em without the weapon.
Compared to the mythic weapons - relic/empyrean are easy to get.

I suppose you have a relic already since their so easy to get. Do you also think they should remove the quests for mythics since you think relics and empyreans are so much easier then mythics, why should mythic weaponskills be available to all especially only having to do 250 weaponskills to get it theres somewhat of a balance issue here.

Empyreans: Extremly easy.
Relics: Time sink for a sub par weapon in some cases only easy if you have over 150 million gil to waste.
Mythics: Huge time sink doing outdated content that you can't find a group for anymore, can't buy everything to get one.

If mythics are so much harder why are they the only ones where you can get the weaponskill from doing a quest, is this SE's way of saying don't bother with these weapons because most of them have been trash since they were released.

Mythic are difficult to get. To mention the hillarous conditions to get one it's quite easy to get an empyrean or relic.
As I mentioned in a differnt thread - you can allmost buy a Relic (with enough gil) and Empyrean are just some work but it's possible to get one done within a few weeks (less than 4 month).

If you don't believe - take a look at ffxiah or wiki. There are x-times more empyrean as relics as mythic.

And content doesn't outdate - it's the playerbase that moves to different areas cause they can WS for incedible numbers, leech their subs or just waste time to get the last seal.
With Lv90 Nyzul Island and the related stuff is no challange. Dynamis wasn't at Lv75. And with nonoutdated equipment Abyssea isn't difficult at all.
