Two things.

1. Can we please get a new expansion with new areas and a decent storyline?

im going to use caps in this next part for emphasis.

2. DONT LET IT TAKE THREE YEARS TO BE FULLY RELEASED. 1 YEAR MAXIMUM FOR ALL CONTENT TO BE UNLOCKED.

I understand that the dev team is busy with all this filler content. The devs might say to themselves that not many people have completed Wings of the Goddess and so we don't need another expansion just yet.

This is false reasoning if this is indeed the case. Many people lost interest in Wings of the Goddess because the updates were so few and far between. I honestly don't even know what the storyline is anymore because the development team never gave any incentive. Whats the point in doing a storyline when you have to stop because the rest of the game isn't even released yet?

So please. Yes we want expansions. No we don't want it to take 3 years to be released.

No doubt SE's gonna crack down on a new expansion after they deal with the whole 99 jump. As far as story lines go, their best bet would be to open up the far east (with Tenzen as some key figure) [perhaps open Quetzalcoatl and Phoenix as possible summons for SMN]. New jobs seem highly unlikely.
If SE does more of this inter dimensional or time-space folding stuff I wouldn't be surprised to see them pull a FFTactics and pull a Cloud in here or something.

They have seperate inhouse dev teams that work on expansions, nothing to do with the staff that update FFXI.

Sooner or later we will get another Expansion or "Add-on" similar to Abyssea, because from Level 90+ What NM's are we doing to use for Empyrean trials and Endgame content?

After the power, strength etc. we recieved from Abyssea people cant seriously expect us to go back to old game content that takes forever with low power & stats which takes 18 people hours to do.

They released Abyssea warps in North & South Gusta but not in Sandy or Windy areas... Might be a reason for that, I hope.

Personally I'd love another Abyssea expansion so we can continue to grow our strength, atmas etc. without going outside and feeling WEAKER than we did at lv80 inside abyssea.

Either that or the new revamped Merit system at 99 better give us a serious power boost

It's been said many times before, but until they either drop ps2 support or somehow transfer it to the ps3, then I don't think we're going to see anymore major expansions.

They never said that, the PS2 version of the game still has tons of HDD space (I belive its only using 6-8GB of space on a 40GB HDD), all they need to do is get Sony to increase the partiton size.

There's no reason the PC and Xbox 360 versions can't be updated even without an expansion on graphics or new weapons and other things. Just use pre-existing models and textures in the PS2's case so they can still enjoy newer content.

Also...Wings of the Goddess completion can net you a Moonshade Earring with Latent effect: Regain (Latent = you have your weapon out) augment, if you choose it. Which might literally be the best tp earring in the game. Brutal being a very close second. Stack the two? Greatness.

I didn't mean as in this kind of abyssea, they could use the Abyssea type area/atma etc. but with Content similar to the scale of how Sky, Sea etc. was.

So we keep our new found strength, stuff takes time BUT wouldn't need 18 ppl for it.
