Since SE decided to change how we use crour I am suggesting a way to let people in VW make make some money since they cannot do it by converting crour. I suggest they add gil to the rewards in a similar amount since that is what it was used for a lot of the time anyway. By adding gil to the reward at least people get something besides 1k-5k garbage drops from it. Also this is pretty RMT free cause they are not gonna waste the time to build characters to do it. Just my 2 cents. Any other ideas?

They had the amazing idea of converting cruor to gil before, with abyssea, and you used to be able to sell abyssea gears to npc. Suddenly you no longer have to buy gills since you can always make some when you want to. Then they turned into a bunch of idiots and I think this new regime is even worse than the old one. We seriously need Yoshi P from FF14 to take over FF11 and give it another go for a realm reborn.

That other game was restarted, fresh, as new games. I fail to see your points. We had a great year in 2010-2011. Then the "retarded" adjustments started to appeared in droves. After almost two whole years... seriously, like what, they just finally woke up over there?

But fixing crafting would require thinking, and judging by the recent nerfs, SE doesn't like to think.
Nerfing the abilities required for certain events instead of looking at the events themselves to see what's wrong with them is a prime example of choosing the path that requires the least thinking. It is much easier to just nerf an ability than it is to rebalance content. -

They actually have a very great idea with cruors. A really amazing idea. Cruor is a currency you keep, and not tradeable which means its a hindrance to gillsellers. What they should do instead is making us able to purchase stuffs with our cruors, example crafting materials, food ingredients, heavy metals, riftcinder,voiddust, ancient currency, alexandrite, brews for Voidwatch, Legion, Meeble burrows etc. By doing that RMT are limited to bazaar and AH, they can't convert cruor to items and hope to sell it fast enough, especially if you are making the prices of high ticketed items (HMP, Riftcinder) at the 200k and up, 1 million cruors for 100 ancient currency, etc. They just need to make the conversion rate at a non abuse-able level and you are limited to only purchase 2 every 24 hours to minimize abuse. Plus players will need it for endgame events brew which slow down the rate of cruors being used for items.
