    Account suspension - again

    Ok here's the deal, I got caught up in this RMT account suspension with many other high end crafters. I can sort of live with this as its only a suspension and it has the greater good in mind(Kill RMT sellers). Not happy with it, but I can live with it.

    So I buy an alternate account and attach it to may main service account with the intention of being able to mail to this account and use retainers since the current system does not let you mail to your alts without suing a 3rd party(Whats with that anyway?) So I level my Gladiator to 16 over the course of a day. Log out. Next time I log in this new account has also been suspended.

    What the hell is going on. I was only angry before, but now I'm furious.

    Can someone look into both my accounts please, and actually suspend the real accounts with people doing stuff that breaches the TOS.

    You need to contact them via web/live chat/phone, they don't reply to posts on these forums sorry.

    I don't have a suspended account, I had a suspended service. My line of thinking, though yours is mostly likely right.

    Why would you buy another copy of the game when you know their customer support is horrible? That's like promoting someone to do a bad job.

    I honestly thought as I'd done nothing wrong and I was fine to just add another service account until the other had been proven innocent.

    Guess I was wrong . This is my first encounter with Square Enix - After reading Yoshi's letters to the community I thought this was going to be a great game and involve the community in its evolution. I couldn't have been more wrong. After reading the negativity on the forums and the lack of response with major issues I'm just amazed these people were even allowed to recreate FFXIV.

    If this is the path they wish to tread I don't foresee a great future for A Realm Reborn. We had Before Meteor? I guess Meteor II is on its way and just hasn't landed yet. Its on its way.

    Most of the negativity is on this forum because this is the only forum that isn't subject to short-sighted posting limits. So what you see here that shouldn't be here:
    1. Hacking/Suspended , these are not tech issues. Despite that, even on other MMORPG tech forums, this is where complaints about hacking/bots/modders/etc end up, since the "smartest" people hang out here.
    2. Complaining about SE - There is a forum for suggestions/website feedback, unfortunately nobody can post to it unless they haven't posted to the tech forum for 24 hours.
    3. Where do I find, phone/chat - This isn't the forum for it, and people ignore the hopelessly unuseful knowledge-base system that gives you the contact forms for these.
    4. Billing issues - "I attached my PS3 code to the wrong account" and stuff like that. That is not a tech problem, that is a customer service problem that you need to follow the unuseful knowledge base tree.
    5. I see bots/rmt/spam - Use the https://support.na.square-enix.com/f...=5382&la=1&p=0 form.

    What belongs in the Tech support forum, as per other game sites:
    a) My computer won't run this game, help me - Determine problematic software/hardware
    b) My computer crashes, here's the screenshot of the error message, here's the output of DXDIAG - Nope nobody's doing this, because the S/N ratio of people not using the search button.
    c) I received an error message from the game client (90000) - Figure out networking issues. Again people not using the search button.
    d) This game lags/low frame rate - See A

    Between B and C you'd think SE would have actually posted something about it, but no, if you go look at http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/f...esolved-Issues you'll see they've only "resolved" posts up to August 23rd, and whoever is responsible for this forum is cherry-picking http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/f...pport-Required , notice the jump from 8-23 to 9-16

    The "bug report" forum is for reporting problems with the quests, that are not caused by the game client itself. This is almost entirely about errors in quests translations, as any actual problems would have been resolved during QA testing, but sometimes a specific bug happens due to a combination of factors that QA would not have had time to test. For example the lag caused by large FATE parties, quest rewards not given due to disconnections, and boss monster AI freezing.

    The only place you even see Dev's responding is : http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/s...rchid=12481226 , which is everywhere BUT the tech forum.
