Latency issues

I've reached endgame but after doing an Ifrit HM I realized that there is no point to keep on playing. What's the point in grinding darklight and relic if I can't even dodge the enemy attacks? I always made sure to run out of AOE area but it still got me everytime. Once I even stood way outside right beside my teammate. I got fried, he didn't. People then started to get annoyed of me to keep dying constantly, saying things like I'm too stupid to dodge aoes or I'm using it as an excuse. Well, I'm not too stupid to dodge them, I just can't.

I'm playing on a PS3, does that actually matter? Do you think they will fix this problem eventually or is there no hope? And does anyone else has that problem?

Same here. The quality of gameplay in the game is disgrace when it comes to lag issues. Can't imagine more than few thousand ppl paying sub for this after the first month. I certainly will not and will do my best to warn every EU player to never touch this game or any other game that SE makes cause its obvious that they were NEVER going to support EU properly.

Yes, I have this issue as well. Though I have to admit it did get a bit better from the Beta phases, but it will still be horrifying when it comes to Titan HM. Especially when all he does is AoE attacks, and I'll be even more terrified when I get to Crystal tower and Coils, if I stay that long anyway. I'm still undecided on whether I'll sub or not, but right now the scale is tipped on the not subbing side.

I hope they do manage to fix it, because I really love this game and I would sub in a heartbeat, but I won't do it if I can't progress past these aoes mayhem.
