I dont think its the issue of registering the new game..Its an issue of your trying to overlay the new CE key onto an existing account that already is registered with another game key which is most likely not possible . They might (and thats a very small might) be able to if they close your SE account then move your toon to the new account at some time but i doubt they are going to do that any time soon when they haven't even enabled server transfers and have many other issues far more important to deal with 1st including needing to hire many more CS staff than they currently have.

you assumed, you were wrong.... take responsibility for it. Its Not Square Enix or Amazon's problem to deal with.

try to get the refund from Amazon or sell the CE version on Ebay, friend, etc and recover your cash..and by the upgrade for $20 from the mog station....or you can continue with your tantrum and not play the game.
