At level 30, There is the lower half of south shroud (there are quests), Eastern La Noscea (there are quests), Forgotten Springs ( There are quests). On top of the hunting log for 30-40. There are 8 battle classes (gld, lnc, cnj, arc, acn, mrd, thm, pug). Your first class you shouldn't even need these side quests or if you do, you should be using very few. There are the main quests, your hunting log, the one-off bonuses from hests. The hunting log could get you to lvl 32-33 (I had a FC help me with 35+ hunts)At this level, you get a dungeon (if you're smart and unlock it). More help with leveling. There is no reason that in 3 areas, you should be wasting the side quests on 1 class. At 35, You have Upper La Noscea quests And Coerthas Highlands. There's 2 towns in Coerthas, each with quests. There are the 35 hests. Brayflox dungeon. I don't know about the camp overlook quest levels since I never touched there, but some of the monsters are around lv 35 so maybe they can count too.
Most of the side quests I mentioned should be dipped into for second classes and beyond. If you're blowing through them on your first when you also have main quests, that's your fault, not SE's.
I believe at 29, you start unlocking dungeons at every 3 levels. They help with exp. For second classes, side quests in one area could make up for the main xp you no longer have.
I understand the topic plenty fine. The OP wants the quests to be reflagged because he's out of them. The reason I argue is because it was noted way before launch to discourage people from using them on 1-2 classes. There are plenty of leveling alternatives for classes that were disregarded because you wanted to blow through quests without thinking.
1-10 you shouldn't even be touching most if any of these. Your hunting log 1-10 will get you to 10 or close to it. I think I did a total of 5 fates each for my secondary classes, which is not bad in starting zones. They are not littered with players. If you complain about having to do a couple of fates in starting zones, the issue isn't quests, but you.
10-15. Hunting log can get you here. If need be, call a friend in to help with the last hunt or 2. The hunting log can get you to 15, in which the dungeons unlock again. Look, another way to get xp and quests haven't even been touched yet. The 3 starting dungeons during the 5 levels get you to 20 in no time, which very few runs. At 20, Another hunting log, and a new dungeon. At level 23, another dungeon. During the 6 levels in between, using some of the quests in one of the 20 areas (South Shroud buscaroon town, Camp Drybone,) might actually happen, but not blowing through all of them on one class. At 29, there's a dungeon. At 30, whole new areas to explore and a new hunting log. The fact that there are other ways of getting xp without FATEing your way through 50 levels shows that SE had considered this. If a player manages there quests accordingly, they won't have this problem. If you decided to blow through all your quests, well then you chose to be left with dungeons, leves, hests, and FATEs. That was not SE's choosing, that was yours.
As for being a white knight, I am not one because I have plenty of complaints about the game. The loading prioritization in FATEs is god awful. South Shroud and Coerthas being the worst (+Odin since he pops up in all black shroud). The fact that HUD elements keep moving across the screen and keep needing to be moved back. The damn walls of text every time I enter a city. The fact that the music will randomly just die and the game has to be restarted to fix it. Some issues with endgame progression.
