    I'm in the same pain. I can't pay. I tried having my mother make the payment for me from my home country. But it was rejected.
    Now that I read this I'm assuming that's because of the 30 days lock...

    I also had trouble with paypal through ultimate pay.
    I contacted them and they said their lock is 48 full hours long.
    I'll try again tomorrow, having someone make the transaction from my home country.

    In case it doesn't work, how do I know how long my SE account is locked? I'm assuming with all the tries I made that i'm lock for 30 days if not 30 years >.>!!

    I don't understand why this is happening to me either. I'm in Australia, my card and financial institution is Australian and it says that in my profile. If SE has locked me out of my account for a month because of their own system incompetency I'm not going to be happy.

    The only reason I can think of is because I'm connecting to a JP server since they have the lowest latency and there are no Oceanic servers. Either way, I'd have thought this'd be a pretty serious issue that would have been ironed out early. Must be difficult if it won't die.
