Stunning Ifrit Hard Mode

Okay, so I'm usually the stunner. I never miss a stun on Eruption, but sometimes it goes off anyway. So I figured the diminishing returns are kicking in because someone else is using it on accident or whatever.

So I ask and no one says they are, but it keeps happening. No matter how perfect my stuns are throughout the fight, he still manages to get a few off.

I tried Spirits Within, but the animation is far too slow. And I think silence might share the same DR.

So what am I missing?

There's only 1 Eruption that should go off, at ~60% HP.

That's the only occasion, presuming that you're not stunning Radiant Plume and no one else is stunning, that Stun resistance should reach 100%.

Built-up immunity. If you stun every Eruption up until that point, Ifrit will still be immune and there's nothing you can do about it. Luckily, it's the only time during the fight this is the case.

I'm getting the exact same thing. I'm stunning perfectly, no plumes, just white hits and stunning Eruption. Combat log even verifies that I'm stunning correctly, yet Ifrit still uses Eruption. It's not resisted or anything, it's just... broken.

I did a few runs perfectly with no Eruptions going off, but then this happened.

how do i know its exactly the right one? is it right after he does his first emote?

what lvl is the ifrit fight to do over and over for the gear drops

That's odd. I have no issues stunning each of his eruptions.

I have however been wondering if Spirits Withing or Shield Swipe share the same Stun resistance. Because I've had runs where my stuns were reisted. And nobody used stun.

If you have DRGs using Spineshatter dive, it causes stun DR.

i was also wondering if perhaps the accuracy stat might have something to do with it. can shield bash miss? i have 395 accuracy. but how do i know if thats enough?
