We need an AH

1. Auction House is only an Auction House if it has Blind or Timed Bidding.

We all know what kind of AH we're talking about.

2. All Time based Conveniences that the Market Wards lack that "Auction Houses" have can be implemented into the Market Wards without ever mentioning or using an Auction or Auction House.

Sure - it wants to do that fine. However, that seems like an astronomical waste of space that could be used for a hell of a lot more useful things then mules standing around like a herd of retarded cattle.

3. One of the Benefits of an Market Ward over an Auction House is Impulse Buying. Most people do not impulse buy on Auction Houses, they find what they want and leave. With the ward system you can potentially introduce characters to new items they didn't know about or knew about and would want but never considered buying at the time. Or sell things in sets so that when a person searches for one part of the set they can find and buy the other parts directly from you. This is not something you can do with an AH. Each item has to be searched for individually.

That benefit is so small it's irrelevant. New items people will know about from the internet and seek out when they are searched for through a search function. I don't know about you but I have never looked at another mule that didn't have a star above his head when forced to go into the cattle pin.

People still over glorifying the AH system I see. MW and AH are basically the same system, MW lacks literally only 2 features given XIV's current design, 1 if you think about it and that's buying from the search.

It's ONLY because other MMOs have an AH that people want one just like other MMOs have jump people want it here. If no MMOs had jump or an AH I can guarantee no one would be glorifying them.

Yeah, since that's saying the AH system is better, yet all it is is a common system used among MMOs. MW system are basically one in the same.

Which is why I ask them to explain what features from the Auction House they are missing. They never once mention Blind or Timed Bidding. they mention Time and Convenience items.

They also refuse to make suggestions about how the Market Wards could be improved to remedy the issues they have.

Unlike the people who like the Market Wards who continue to strive to accommodate people who claim they want an auction house.

Yes, YES it's about time and convenience and the market wards don't provide neither! I hate it so much that even if they fixed it to be like a real AH I'd still hate it because of just the name reminds me of the horrible mess it has been. I hate everything about it. The zoning, loading, zombie seller, the hassle, the guesswork pricing and the fact that it's so retarded.
