Mogu Mogu Earrings 25th Anniversary Box Code Issues

Hello !
I purchased the 25th Anniversary Final Fantasy Box several months ago. One of the particular goodies I was excited about and was a little bit of a deciding factor for purchasing the box was the Mogu Mogu Earrings. When Soken Tweeted that the Dalamud Minion Codes would not be region locked I assumed and hoped that the Mogu Mogu Earrings would not be region locked as well. Come time when Mog Station opens up I input my code ! However, I received an error that said the code was being used within the wrong region. The box itself was worth over $450 for a few others perhaps even more. There are others within the community that are having this issue as well. Other than that I am really much enjoying the game. I am hoping that we can still redeem our Mogu Mogu Earring Codes in some other fashion as we did purchase the box as well. If you are having the same or similar issue please post below. I hope that maybe the Devs might shed some light on our issue. Thanks!

The last I heard was that SE support has passed this problem to the developers. DEVS, can you help us on this? Thank you.

I submitted a ticket almost a week ago I know they have other priorities currently but there has been no official response yet . Please feel free to show support to this thread if you as well are having these issues.

It is good to know that the SE reps are escalating this case to the head office which means there is chance of redeem the item. On the other hand, it is very sad that a simple thing such as enabling codes to be region free takes so long to evaluate. The dalamud minion code was allowed so quickly but why this one takes so long? We were told that codes in ARR are going to be region free when the Meteor Soundtrack which had the dalamud code was announced because it only had Japanese version, so why is this any different? Please DEVS, do give us a response on this matter. Thank you.

I don't have this problem as I couldn't afford the set, but I don't see why people who own a valid code shouldn't get the earrings seeing as they paid the same as anyone else - it's not as if there's any delivery costs involved in sending a digital item "overseas".

To the devs: I import a lot of guide books, soundtracks, merchandise, etc - and I'd be far more likely to import FFXIV-related stuff if I knew I wasn't going to run into this sort of problem in the future. "But why not wait for it to come out on your local Square-Enix webstore?" - because a) They'll never be selling the Japanese guides/manga/novels, etc on there and b) I had Before Meteor preordered and paid for on a reliable import site before English players even had vague confirmation on the forums that they would eventually be able to buy it through official channels.

In the replies the REP gave people, it goes something like this service is not available at the moment but they have sent the feedback to their head office or the developers. So actually it is not really official that they are actually looking into it or just ignoring this problem for now. That is why I really hope the DEVS can response to this thread. The boxset is very expensive and it is very unfair to get this problem really. This situation is no difference from the Meteor soundtrack which does not have a English version and they allow the code to be region free and they did say that the codes in ARR going to be region free. I really cannot understand why is this happening.
