Error 90000, everyone in game standing still, Received: 0

Hi all,

I played the last phase of the beta with my girlfriend on seperate computers and everything was fine, but now since early access I am totally unable to play, and not just because of the server congestion. When I do manage to log in and get into the game, every other PC in the world stands completely still (they might occasionally twitch a few feet forwards, but never more than that) and in the top-right of the screen where the wifi kinda symbol is, it reads Sent: *always a random number* Received: *always 0*. Sounds like I'm not receiving anything from the servers or something, right? After a couple of minutes I will be kicked off with error 90000 or occasionally 2002 which closes my game altogether. My girlfriend does not have this problem, and we are using the same internet connection. This happens on both JP and EU servers.

Please help! Support keeps closing my tickets with no answer!

I had a feeling this was the case. They say "error 90000" is fixed. Do they even know what error 90000 means? Can't they explain what is happening to their customers? If they have enough time to give this error a name you would think they would know what it means. SE fails to fix error 90000 for the fourth (maybe even fifth) time in a row. Sorry to hear you are having trouble. It's too bad a company like this is selling a product that thousands of people cant even use.

Ive been having Error 90000 issues throughout the day. This issue is obviously not corrected as people keep bumping into it. Right now several of people I am playng with say that they have major delays in game (server lag) and if it last too long you get hit with the Error 90000 message.

FFXIV and now FFXIV ARR, seriously guys?

I just noticed that if I leave the game logged in but minimised in the background, then maximise it to try and play, everyone on screen looks like they just that second stopped moving, and the "Receiving" number is in the high 3000's or low 4000's before taking a nosedive. So this issue only happens... when I'm actually LOOKING at the game.

(Would also like to note that I have tried all the stuff suggested in the Error Code 2002 thread, port forwarding and all.)

This has been happening to quite a few people. A thread was started awhile ago about this issue, but has been getting "lost" in the mass of threads about logging in. If you guys could also post in the thread below, it could help bump the attention maybe?

I have to play in window mode due to a vista error in which you cant see the cursor in full screen mode. I do have this problem as well, everything just holds, when i tab to the tech forums(seems like my FF14 home now) and look at whats happening in game, everything is moving again, i tab back.....everything is still again. So annoying.
As im sure you will agree, since EA, i havnt got far in the game at all.

I totally agree -_- Can't even attack anything when it's locked up like this. I think 7 might be my level cap.
