Main Story Quests bugged after "The Ul'dahn Envoy" Redundancy Issues

Well this is ridiculous. This is the second post of the exact same nature i posted two days ago for the same ongoing problem. This is getting annoying and for them to tell me they don't give individual responses is bull. Do something for the love of god. This has been happening since Beta 4 its getting old.

Apparently i am incapable of doing as they ask by posting a thread on the forums about my issues even though its exactly what i've done. So SE screw you just fix the damn problem for those of us affected and quit screwing around)

Steps:

Upon completion of the story Quest "The Ul'dahn Envoy" after viewing the Cutscene, the next quest that is supposed to be given by Bartholomew was not flagged. I am currently unable to progress in the story line to be able to join a grand company. I have attempted multiple full exits from the game and still have been unable to receive the quest.

I was able to join a grand company. Did you visit the three nations for their speeches, then go back to Minfillia? There should be three people there (the heads of the grand companies) and you choose which one you want to join, then go back to the city where you want to join to sign up. But I don't know exactly where the trouble lies since I had no issues joining a grand company.

Did you speak to the Serpent officer somewhere in or near Nophica's Altar in Old Gridania? I had the same problem as the mark did not appear on the map, though I eventually found out who to speak to after a day of not knowing what to do.

Since you didn't bother responding in your old thread:
Suggestion seen elsewhere: Go to Gridania next and check the Recommendations menu.
You might want to use the Recommendations menu at other points you had to visit during the questline to see if you happened to miss something.

Nekodar, the recommendations menu means jack squat as i never receive the quest marker for "They might be Pirates" which takes you to limsa lominsa to speak to the Adventurers guild rep and that inturn sends you to Satasha. I know what the order should be and its not happening. Your suggestions are just serving to infuriate an already inflated sensation of anger with the lack of response on the part of the people supposed to be running support.

Does that mean you have tried, or that you're convinced that you've done everything right already and don't need to use the recommendations menu? I can't tell from your answer.

I'm not saying there's not a bug, but things have to be ruled out.

Was stuck here myself after visiting Gridania. I missed the Serpent officer on the way out, back to U'ldah - she gives the quest which makes you seek out someone in LL for the lvl 15 dungeon there. you wont get to bartholemew until after you beat all 3 lvl 15 dungeons
