Registration Issue - No Available Characters?

Hi,

I received my registration key for FFXIV CE today. However, I am hesitant to use it because of a problem I'm having.

After having played through the pre-order period, I have three characters. They all show up when I log in to the main FFXIV website.

When I logged into Mog Station to input the code, it says I have 3 days left (true) and that I've received my Cait Sith items (true). However, off to the right, it says I have no available characters.

The main site shows all three, but Mog Station shows none. I'm afraid of inputting my code and wasting it somehow. I'm absolutely sure there is no second account, as I never created more than one, back during beta 2 or 3. Any guidance, please? Thanks much!

I've seen that thread, actually, but so long as I'm logging into Mog Station with the same Account ID as I use for the game ... would that not be fine? Plus, it has the beta time and the Cait Sith items listed. Just not my characters?

I never made any secondary accounts. I'm at least positive about that one.

I am in the exact same boat. I bit the bullet and registered my game on that account anyhow (because I KNOW it is the right account), but my character is not showing. I only made one because I wanted to focus on him because I actually got into the server I wanted.

Also, my character is showing on Lodestone so I think it may be a glitch in the character preview in Mog Station. I can't be certain though until I log in from home...

All my pre-early access characters do not show on mog station either, only the one I rolled on a jp server to kill time while waiting on 1017 does, but when I upgraded to digital ce it sent the mail to all characters. Think possibly just a bug on the mog station.

I hope it works out for you, and would be interested to hear the results when you get home.

For now, until I hear more testimony that registration is fine even with the character list screwed up, I am going to err on the side of caution and hang onto my code.

they still wont give me a preorder code for my region on ps3, square just dosen't care about people they gave bad codes to any more. i've been on queue for chat support for two days now and missed early access and now they're telling me i can't have my preorder items if they don't fix it for me by friday. BS, i call schinannigance

Okay, now my characters show up. The only thing I did differently was click Account Services.

I am confused. Happy! But, confused.
