    Legacy Chocobo Companion

    On the tool tip for the Legacy Chocobo, it says: "Five years and a realm shaking Calamity were not enough to break the bonds between you and your loyal steed. A single whistle and he will be at your side once again." indicating that it is your chocobo from pre-calamity. Yet all you can use as your chocobo companion is the Company Chocobo. I think it'd be super fantastic if you could switch to the Legacy Chocobo, and name it, and use it as your companion, as you would the company chocobo. Pleeeeeaaase, SE?

    BTW I posted this here because I wasn't sure where it should be posted. I can't seem to find a regular 'suggestions' forum, aside from website suggestions.

    That was interesting to read as a non-legacy person, but are you sure they don't have a reason your chocobo might be acting as a company companion?

    Did you have the issue resolved? if not, i just found out you can claim your old items at "Calamity salvager" NPC in every major city. Your chocobo whistle and goobbue horn (if you had it) should be in that pile.

    I thought about this myself. I am all for it. I just like the Legacy Chocobo's appearance so much by comparison. Oh! And imagine some of the barding!

    The fun part is that when you're a legacy player, your company chocobo has the name of your 1.0 chocobo... which should be the Legacy Chocobo instead... <_< mysteries of Eorzea.

    It's even sillier for those Legacy players like me who never actually had a chocobo in 1.0 in the first place (I never joined a GC in 1.0), so the references on the Legacy chocobo's description in the menu is rather strange. Ah well, I still love my Legacy chocobo anyway - it's my favourite mount.
