    Being patient & Kudos

I am not currently logging in and playing everyday but I am coming to the lodestone once a day to see if there is any updates. I started off buying the Collectors Edition got a FFXIII code for the gauntlets was super excited and crushed just like everyone else. I just wanna say I think it was a bold move keeping servers up while you tweak the game. Its obviously got to be destroying fundings but if you meet expectations this game could be the biggest comeback in MMO history..

With that being said everyone appears to be on a solid track, quests, revamped combat system, raids. I believe all of these needed to be added in before classes renamed/revamped. The honest truth from forums searching, talking to other MMO friends who also got let down with FFXIV we all want the same thing before we come back... Class changes. You tried something new with Gladiator, Marauder, Pugilist..ect... But with a really tough market to play in it won't cut the mustard.

<Short Pause in wall of text>

To wrap this up I just wanted to say awesome job new and improved developments appear to be coming along nicely. Kudos on keeping this to Open Beta status so players can still test and tweak before you get it polished enough to charge people. And congrats to all the players who have stuck around making sure the game is best it can be so that mass population including myself will have the best product to come back to.

Where is our Kudos for being patient?

My Onion Helm sits on my retainer useless, my early start means nothing, the journal sits in it's box protected from dust, the security token button hasn't been pushed in awhile.

See this thread for a better explanation.

Considering the changes to the classes and the broken-ness of the current economy, I wouldn't at all be opposed to a total server reset when the PS3 version is released.

In compensation, SE should give the current players (effective beta testers) a prestige item that grants the equivalent of 50 levels worth of exp to spend however they choose on either a single class or a combination of classes.

This is one way to keep the botting and exploiting that is happening during this testing period from affecting the final game.

I think that would require a majority of users to actually be patient. Not gonna name any names...buuuuuuuuuuut some people get very emotional over the fact that it's taken over half a year to implement and change a few things, even when taking into account the troubles at Square and the damage the earthquake has done.
