They were both based on the restrictions on posting which SE themselves have grouped into one thread called "Forum Design and Features" therefore it is justified having them in the same thread when both issues can be grouped under the same heading, if I have broken the forum guidelines, I suggest you report this thread made by Gildrein because these are multiple topics in one thread.

The fact is character limits and restriction on the amount of posts an threads are posting restrictions and the only ones announced by SE (the call them "Features" because it's better PR).
