Who knew that overly large dat file held such cinematic goodness!I remember reading in an older thread, there was a way to actually view the original opening for 1.0 directly from the game file itself, as the movie file is actually in WMV format with it's file extension hidden as DAT - and I found the thread in question (first post on this page has the answer): http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...o-Delete/page4
Of course this will only work if you still have the original 1.0 client installed naturally.
There's a bunch of movies from a topic I made, that others helped me find great cutscenes in.

Sad we will lose all Intro we did during 1.0 that we were able to watch in INN. Wish they would kept it for those we were in 1.0. But make a new section for 2.0 in the book so we can go back and watch the 1.0 one we did ^^
