    I remember reading in an older thread, there was a way to actually view the original opening for 1.0 directly from the game file itself, as the movie file is actually in WMV format with it's file extension hidden as DAT - and I found the thread in question (first post on this page has the answer): http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...o-Delete/page4

    Of course this will only work if you still have the original 1.0 client installed naturally.
