And as a result the free company that gets more points will get the controll of the camp till the next event.

Hamlet is against Beastmen and they aren't totally removing it. So fighting against them isn't out of the question.
Also beastmen are never at complete "peace" with the nations in FF lore (aside from a couple of tribes from time to time)

Also, the present day/normal XI still had "region control" and was technically during a peace time. Well at least as peaceful as that game got.

If there was world peace, we would have no reason to fight / level up / kill stuff.

Yeah that came up somewhere, at some point.. Forget when/where. I am sure whatever they do will be an improvement, as Hamlet was terrible.
