I have access to a vent server and there is a steam community so even when we're not in game you can hop on one of those to see what's going on. Check the OP for contacts in game. Hope to see you on.

how much does it cost to transfer servers nowadays? I had a 75 monk on cerberus I wouldnt mind getting on again. it down to either getting back on xi or getting on rift for me

edit: oooo the steam version has everything in one bundle and you get a kick @$$ item for buying it and 30 days game time. now i may just start a new character haha

I've noticed a few threads on here asking for suggestions to play different MMOs, hoping for the XIV servers to come back up for awhile, or just a general lack of motivation to play anything else besides XIV.

Some have talked about rejoining XI and others have talked about not rejoining XI for the time we have to wait for ARR.

I personally wouldn't mind starting a new character on a new XI server and starting from the beginning with a group of like minded people. We could play all the classic stuff the way it was meant to be played instead of jumping straight into Abyssea.

If anyone is down for this or knows of a server that a bunch of XIV people have jumped back to, or is willing to buy a bunch of world passes let me know. I'm game.

Also, if anyone else has any suggestions to another game that a lot of XIV players are playing right now I'll consider that too but I'm really leaning towards XI right now.

If they made a FFXI server where the content was all pre-Abby and everyone had to start from lv1, then yes. Otherwise hell no. Then again lets start at lv50 in all jobs....wait make that 60. No even better Louisoix please teleport me 10 years in the past.
