realistically to make gil all you need is either a battle, crafting, or a gathering class. you just have to check the wards to see what's selling well and low on supply and then go out and put in an effort to collect those items. sure, some ways you can make gil faster, but you can make gil regardless of what disciple you want to use.

yeah thats all i hear are crafting classes. But im kinda OCD when it comes to games and especially MMORPGS. I have to do my main melle and magic jobs first and i have to lv. my job to lv.50 before i can start another job. Once i get all my jobs capped than i work on crafting. I know im weird ; ; XD

nah that's not weird. that just means you like to finish one thing before starting something else and spreading yourself too thin. even during leveling battle classes there's plenty of things you can grind and sell in the wards that are useful to crafters. just one example is the 42-45 grind on raptors the skins and the sinew they drop are both parts for multiple high level crafts and parts for hamlet turn ins to go towards provisioner.

that's just one example, but there's examples in all level ranges you can grind on and make a nice profit in the process.

Spiritbond, sell tier IVs, double meld tier IIIs. Granted double melding tier IIIs market is slowing down due to server going down soon and upgrading gear seems pointless at this point.

If you are ballsy, double meld relic weapons prereqs.

The crafting classes are "jobs" too. your OCD should be driving yourself to level them just as much as the others =\

at this point you only have 2 weeks left anyway, it's all going to change in 2.0, but in general HQ mats for relic weapons and materia of all types sell fast and easy

of course if you don't want to craft you can't expect more than a modest amount of gil

So its about 1-2 mil every 3 hours.

I used to spirit bond and one time I made 10 mil, but lately I've only been making my money back, maybe a little profit. But it seems too flakey to make a steady income.

I have a miner 50 but I have no idea what I should be doing with it.
I don't really mine HQ ores very often it seems. I read in BG that perception makes no difference, maybe I should stack VIT? Not even sure if the return on that is any good.

So yeah, any advise please? My jobs available are all DOM and DOW, miner 50, no crafts.
Farming beastmen coins is one of the best way to make money right now.

Perception makes no difference? Sounds like BG just lost my respect.

You can stack MND for HQ if you don't like perception. In any case, it's a matter of looking up what the expensive ores are on your server and going for them, but don't drop any other mats you get. Also consider what the ores are used to make. This isn't some sort of gathering secret, and you can make enough to get by this way. There are other ways to make a lot of money, but maybe someone else can divulge that.

    Uh... what?

MND is only supposed to be yield (getting 3 items instead of 2)
