That's fishing tackle, not spearfishing gigs. Fishing tackle is baits and lures.

Also added that tackle will be converted to gil and that new lures will be designed.

The problem with the list on the 2nd is that things like white ravens aren't mentioned. they're not a component in the umbral storyline. It's technically a side quest that contradicts but has no actual part to the umbral story.

one thing I wonder about is primal totems how will they fit in with the revamped rewards system? will tokens remain inventory items or tracked by other means?

also if you follow the players poll results earlier this year there's only about 80 hours of play left till the 1st for most players. (4 hours a day) not a huge deal of time really

Added Tokens to suspected missable list. Since they are revamping the system it will be interesting to know what they did with our old tokens in place of their new system.

Apologies that information on spearfishing achievements was not included previously, as many of you are curious as to what will happen. Since spearfishing is being removed from the game when A Realm Reborn rolls around, it will also no longer be possible to complete spearfishing achievements. We will add this to the list when we release the topics announcement we are currently working on, outlining various aspects of change.

Perhaps Fishers Secondary tool will transform into another tool type entirely, but the spearfish item is being removed from the game.
