well been in a party for moogle today and all i can say is wow, i got kicked for people doing a weird order then blaming me for a wipe.

why would you do the gla first?? then have you mages running around like there crazy running into pomflare. every other party i ever been in and thats pick up & ls partys you kill the blm first after that its a cake walk, and usually end the fight with with one of the 3 being king,mrd,gla.

everyone wipes and since im not in there circle of buddys im the only one getting bitched out yet the blm's got nuked and died in the kings aoe and the blm's aoe, im standing in the middle of the area like normal other whm didnt help at all cuz it was running around also. first time i seen a loss in a moogle fight in a stack of keystone.

am i wrong because they do some weird combo of play in that fight?

Yes you are wrong.
If everyone in the pt knew the order and you didn't (even if its a strange order) then it was your responsibility to clear it up.

if all you're doing in that battle as a WHM is healing, you're doing it wrong.

Phase 1: Cleric Stance + nuke and MP management
King appears: Switch off Cleric Stance, re-buff and re-heal
Phase 2: Heal, buff (usually one WHM takes tank, the other handles party, but both are expected to assist each other in a pinch)
King is alone: one WHM keeps buffing/healing the tank, the other re-uses Cleric Stance and nukes the king ASAP. the faster it goes down, the less you'll have to deal with keeping people alive.

Your job as WHM is the easiest of them all unless they so some stupid shit. You're either watching the party or the tank/kiter unless you were the solo WHM.

Everyone has a different order, especially the Japanese, but it's the party leader's responsibility to go over their strategy in detail.

yeah, just when the king aoe's and they dont move in time they take a mass hit then when blm aoes them its over i can only cure so fast.

Agreed, if they didn't give you the basic info you need (like the order they were doing) then thier leader is at fault. People shouldn't just assume you know, because some ppl use different strategies. We really don't need that brand of militant elitism in this community.

They may have had another strat that they liked to use, but kicking someone out for trying something different and dying once? They need to unbunch their panties. A good bit of deaths I see with moogle are a result of people not dodging obvious aoe's and standing in one spot like statues regardless of what all the moogles are doing.

Best I can say is don't let it bother you. You got kicked out of a party, so what? :P Personally I wouldn't want to do runs with people that uptight. Even in the best groups with the best setups and the best gear shit can happen.
