Yeah you were caught by the general Atomos spawn, so you at least seen the "friendlier" one lol.

Gridania is pretty empty, it's like a ghost town. Although after yesterday's patch, there were a ton of people running around. I was at Tranquil and that place is usually empty, but there were maybe 15-20 people there last night, the most I'd ever seen in one camp @_@

I haven't run into Atomos yet, but I'm actually excited by the premise. Since coming back in August, it's been awesome watching Dalamud get closer and closer, and even have Atomos start spawning crap at camps. Before this patch, I thought I'd probably never see him considering I'm not the right level and will likely never visit those camps, but now, I'm both scared and excited. It's nice to be included in the world events even at a lower level, even if I don't stand a chance, I think that's kind of the point.

Yes, thank you for so clearly pointing this out.. as did many others. It's not like there is anything around that says " if you want to party you must drop your RP and go elsewhere to this one exact spot or you are screwed" I now know the best spot is in ul'dah, of all the regions I detest ul' dah the most. But if I have to go there to meet up with people then so be it.

Right now you should be taking advantage of the Atomos farming. The event works like this. You don't even have to fight, just wait for all the 50s to do the heavy lifting, then run in and collect your loot after Atomos dies. Use the seals to buy yourself your horsebird and promote in the GC. Do this now.
