    Error 90002 a lot since 7.3

    It's been disconnecting me a lot during games like PVP or dungeons and i dont understand why, i talked to my internet provider and everything seems to be fine on that side. I am currently connection from Peru since i started playing this game years ago and this issue has never been this bad.

    I use an ethernet cable to connect to my PC

    I followed the advice from the mod on this: https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/...server-is-lost but i feel like that mightve done it worse idk.

    My internet speed test is:
    Download Mbps
    651.52
    Upload Mbps
    655.72

    My specs are:

    NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050
    Processor AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-Core Processor (3.40 GHz)
    Installed RAM 32.0 GB


    Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this error?

    Also getting this, it's so annoying. Sometimes it's every 20 minutes. I used to never dc but I'm doing it all the time.

    US and a fiber connection. It seems more like an xiv issue it's not happening in other games or mediums

    Same issues as above, followed advice about TCP ports, internet options TSL stuff etc etc
    This issues started to appear about 2 weeks ago but became very bad within the last 3-4 days with error 9001/90002 happening within 5-10 mins of each other.
    US fiber connection, FL

    Before 7.3, no issues

    Is your connection Quantum fiber by chance? As a fellow floridan I've noticed the issues in the last few days have been really frustrating. It does seem xiv exclusive as well- I've nad no problems in other mmos or games with internet connections.

    When does the disconnection occur/How often?
    - Any error messages or codes received?
    - Does the disconnection happen to one character or multiple characters?

    What ISP Is being used?
    - Is a VPN being used when this occurs?

    May you please provide a system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.

    Once we have received the requested information, we may look into this issue further.

    It's completely random, but it did start happening a lot over the last few weeks. Wouldn't be surprised if we were getting dos'd again, or if something in general was flooding servers with useless pings.
