I know why you lobotomized many good dungeons. To make trust NPC capable of transversing them. So hear me out.
How about making dungeons have several routes. One in which the trust NPC follow all the time, and other routes that are RANDOMLY chosen at the loading when running it with other players.
Like variant except that the players do not get to optimize away the fun of the game by chosing the same route over and over. No puzzle to unconver from reading the data. Just plain RNG choosing the router. That way the roulette can still be challenging and people can still go the BORING trust route if they want.
While at it, get a chance to get tokens to get to a coffer dungeons. Thus making the players have a reason to open the coffers. This done only on player runs and not NPC runs. This would be a good enough reward for people to join duty finder. Again, let the RNG gods choose.
