because you are supposed to play the newly released expansion content =) deep dungeons are a catch up content when it comes to leveling imo, and leveling it's not it's only purposeMaybe I should rephrase what I said.
Yoshida referred to the Deep Dungeon as "the levelling content" in the interview, so I found it strange that such content would be added so late in the expansion.
I personally don't have much of an issue with levelling in this game. Roulettes are alright, and I think some people are in too much of a rush to reach max level. It would be nice to have something less tedious and repetitive than overworld FATEs that isn't daily limited, but still.

I can't even do HoH because the few people I've met (few because I'm now "playing other games") are limited by their focus on Savage.
Is there going to be 'any' challenging content that is fun to just queue casually?
So far for an entire expansion, all I've had is 4 normals (no reason to do more than once, I dint need the gear for savage), and 3 extremes (so much fun to clear, but just horrible to repeat with moody farm PFs, even more horrible by the time your on tedious umpteenth pull off the same 1 boss for the 30th day that week)
Yeah if this game can't keep my casual social groups subbed year round, this game is just not for me or my friends. Which by definition I am fine with. But is this really all the ambition that square has?
I am now blaming square and not CB3, because it is clear that they have just been spending our sub on other projects.
Profit is theirs to do with as they please, but they've been allocating ludicrously too much to profit, and not enough to cost of maintaining the game.
I don't speak more than 10 words of Spanish but this game needs S in DF, PF options. I suppose Spanish voice for new Xpacs is too much to ask for ? Probably, your barely managing much English voice as it is.

As those in this thread will readily confirm, I am so bad at PvE it is amazing I can find the power switch to my PC. But even I can solo deep dungeons to the levels required, for example, by the mogtome thingummy.

Occult crescent does give XP though…..it gives XP in support jobs. I don’t think it’s odd at all that zones with seperate power systems exclusively give XP in the power system they work off. Bozja was an exception because mettle giving power (via rays) was added later, originally mettle was just a proxy for how much the Bozjan resistance would allow you to exploreThis discussion makes no sense to me.
Why shouldn't all content give exp?
Leveling jobs is super easy through roulettes. I do think it's weird that people are waiting for "leveling content" because that's what roulettes are for me, but I don't see how this translates to "not every content should give exp".
It still makes sense to make "capstone" content give exp rewards because the max level is increased with every expansion.
Since support jobs come day 1 I don’t see why the content needs regular XP as well
As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.
I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess
