    My two cents: I agree that I wish Occult would be a 91-100 with a sync up to 100 even though I won't need it.

    By the time it comes out, I won't need it to level anything, but I'd still like it since I recognize that if people are using the place to level their classes then it means more people will be participating now and down the line. Bozja is still very active to this day because a lot of people use it to level and it makes for a fun community. If it weren't for people leveling, I don't think it would be nearly as active as it is now, so that aspect really helps people who are late to the game but want old relics as well as people who just enjoy the content to have more people to do things with. Honestly Bozja is one of the few places where I've actually felt like the game has a community doing content at. I did 16 of the classes from 71-90 in there due to it feeling more community based. I know Eureka is still active because it is good for gil, so let us hope that Occult is too so people have reason to do it still several patches later or even next expac.

    For those saying Deep Dungeon is the leveling thing. It is, but why can't both be to offer people different options?
    I personally like the community aspect, seeing familiar faces, and chatting people up in Bozja while waiting for events to start more than I enjoy spamming the same floors of a DD with people I'll likely never see again in my lifetime. And offering both is a nice way for people to get to pick what they want to do and help them not get bored since they could bounce between.

    Ultimately, I think it would have been nice, but it is definitely too late for a change like that (or it would be a miracle if they changed it).

    This aspect might help with having more people there doing FATEs for levels but unfortunately this sort of usage for leveling classes actually hurts people trying to do relics later. I was trying to help friends get through Bozja in early DT and everyone was so concerned just leveling their PCT and VPR there, they would ignore CLL when it popped. You have to do CLL to continue the relic questline.

    Leveling jobs is super easy through roulettes. I do think it's weird that people are waiting for "leveling content" because that's what roulettes are for me, but I don't see how this translates to "not every content should give exp".

    It still makes sense to make "capstone" content give exp rewards because the max level is increased with every expansion.
    Occult crescent does give XP though…..it gives XP in support jobs. I don’t think it’s odd at all that zones with seperate power systems exclusively give XP in the power system they work off. Bozja was an exception because mettle giving power (via rays) was added later, originally mettle was just a proxy for how much the Bozjan resistance would allow you to explore

    Since support jobs come day 1 I don’t see why the content needs regular XP as well

    As a healer main in this game for nigh on 14 years all I can say is that I’m tired. My role has been eroded of complexity and expression for 3 expansions. I’ve watched the tanks do my role for me for 2 expansions and my feedback and critiques continue to fall on deaf ears.

    I have no idea who modern healers are designed for but I know now it’s not me. This is the first expansion I’m truly considering dropping the healer role and not returning, so if that was the goal- congratulations I guess

    Yeah if this game can't keep my casual social groups subbed year round, this game is just not for me or my friends. Which by definition I am fine with. But is this really all the ambition that square has?
    I am now blaming square and not CB3, because it is clear that they have just been spending our sub on other projects.
    Profit is theirs to do with as they please, but they've been allocating ludicrously too much to profit, and not enough to cost of maintaining the game.
    Friend, I am completely on board most of your righteous indignation about the game, but this deep dungeon thing isn't helping your argument.

    As those in this thread will readily confirm, I am so bad at PvE it is amazing I can find the power switch to my PC. But even I can solo deep dungeons to the levels required, for example, by the mogtome thingummy.
