    Ahhhhh, ok see now that makes sense for me. I'm also west coast and haven't been getting dropped at all, but have been seeing the DDOS commentary and was really confused. Like I couldn't figure whether it was maybe the time when I was playing or if I was just getting lucky?

    SE uses NTT as their ISP.

    SE needs to get up their arse because they have been a massive problem for years. The constant DDoS attacks is just the shiet-icing on top of the garbage dump that is NTT.

    Complain to your ISP since you're paying them for your internet connection and you're not getting connected.
    Complaining to our ISP is not going to help because it is not on our end, nor our ISP's end. It starts with NTT and ends with SE.

    I've had 3 different ISPs and each failure point is located on NTT nodes heading towards the servers.

    SE does report to the companies responsible for maintaining the nodes but that's all they can do. They can't magically fix what they do not own or operate.
    Except they've had 4 years of data and complaints on the forums about NTT being an massive issue, and SE does not and will not say anything to them because it is a Japanese owned company.

    Which is a large part of the problem. The average consumer doesn't have a clue what's happening so they jump to conclusions about who is responsible for fixing things.

    Right now, SE is not the party responsible for fixing the problem because it is outside of their control.
    Except the average consumer is right in this instance, even if they don't fully understand it.

    This is 100% SE's responsibility to fix.... Well, 100% NTT's responsibility to fix their service, and SE's responsibility to find a new ISP if NTT can't get their act together.

    Yes let me complain to my european ISP that NTT nodes are the problem, clearly the NTT nodes providers have 0 responsibility nor does SE, yep, you heard it here folks, it's all on our ISP's !

    Maybe for once in your life, hold SE accountable for their own shortcomings, and also for their lack of action, and also the NTT provider. It's really not that hard.

    I am tired of this. People will always find some BS for white knighting because SE really needs that. I assume we just have to accept this situation and stop trying, because as long as enough people pretend that SE is an indie company that needs protection at all costs, nothing will change. But funnily the guys who are arguing for SE literally proved my point from some posts ago. People who defends them are not affected. i am done with discussing. Sadly the one guy picked some parts of my comment besides the technical parts because... i dont know actually. From my perspective people tried others are fine with paying for nothing so moving on. There will be a day people will remember all of this and make a decision some already did.

    You can't compare a video game TOS with a bank, that's pretty silly.
    A bank has insurance and laws to abide. You not able to login due to a DDOS is not comparable.
