    Skipping point allocation?

    Hey,

just started playing this game recently, and thought I'd skip allocating my points until I've decided what to do with them. Then realized they didn't seem to add up after each level, so now I'm not sure what happened to them.

Did they just get automatically placed in my stats, and if they did, can I reallocate them later?

I'm not sure what you mean by this, but no, they won't allocate automatically. At level 13 I believe you should have 8 points, 5 for hitting lvl 10 and 1 point for each lvl after. And each class has it's own points.

The way it works is that you get a whole bunch when the system unlocks at level 10.

After that you get fewer each level. On top of that, your stats have a level-related cap as to how many points you may a lot in each starting at 3 at levels 10/11 and ending at 23 at 50.

Check out the 1.20 patch notes for more info.

Oh, I see. Must have misread the points when I first saw the symbol at 11 or so. Thanks!

FYI, for most classes you should just put points into your two primary stats, used for determining melee damage (not sure if it's posted anywhere readily visible, it was in an old patch notes. For ARC, it's PIE and DEX). The exception is the two mage classes: THM should put points in INT and either MND (for magic accuracy) or PIE (For MP). CNJ should put points in MND and VIT.

    Black Mage= Intelligence and Mind

You will end up with 23 in one, 22 in another at Lv 50. Use your best judgement/personal preference with the extra point.
