Same exact thing, it is most likely CPU related... Mine is a AMD 1090T... which is also Phenom II.... did they poorly implement AVX2? I can be outside of main towns, like at my housing location... but when I go into town I get this problem also. I tried reinstalling drivers, reinstalling game... even did directx runtimes lol. I think this is more than a coincidence. If AVX2 is implemented for some parts of the game, can SE please confirm this? If so... possibly remove them until they are actually utilized?

I did not notice I had 3 error windows stacked on top of each others since everything shut down when you click OK but indeed, same errors for everybody, instantly when entering town only. Definitely something got broken in the update that was not an issue previously. I also have an AMD Phenom II if this is CPU related, could be a clue.
