??? i am very confused by your query here or insinuation we are discussing job design not quest design, what you're referring to is a progress meter when we're asked to complete such tasks the meter fills up to signify our character in a roleplay sense has finished performing a task or an action.

if you were equating that to what's on samurai then that just makes it sound even more ridiculous why its on samurai lol if you had a blade especially an extremely strong blade that can cut thru armor or wood you're not gunna just hold it in place while actively in combat that would just be nonesense XD you're gunna swing it to attack your attacker or to defend yourself from them etc
