    I wish I was given an error code. Currently all I'm getting is a "connection error has occurred". I've followed all the instructions from a previous thread (https://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/threads/467847) to no avail. I've also tried to reinstall the game entirely. This has been happening for about 16 hours now.

    I've found a solution to my error. I found that I could only ping the OCE servers with a command prompt so I ended up using a VPN to connect to the US servers which seems to have just corrected itself? From there, I've turned off my VPN and it's now functioning as intended.

    I got same problem.



    Edit :So yeah i dowloaded vpn, and looks like launcher only working with vpn, when using my original adress im getting error. Is it fixable, or every time i want to play game i must use vpn now?
