What's interesting is that the forum
did used to take a heavy handed approach yet it went too far in such a direction to the point where a number of players were permanently banned for fairly minor and arguably silly reasons. Granted, technically any business can choose to crack down on whoever they so fit but at the same time it isn't unreasonable to then expect those rules to be applied fairly and consistently across the board.
I'm personally in favour of having more of an official presence and engagement from community representatives, which is something I pushed for here:

It's the only reliable way for the business to gain feedback from players who lack a financial incentive to profit off of the game as opposed to influencers who are effectively bribed into championing a product on behalf of the creators of that product.
Q&A sessions that do not automatically filter out hard hitting questions would also be beneficial, I think.
