

Why force people to start off at low level? Leveling is the same boring chore it always was. If you want to start out low, that's fine with me, but adding a cost for other players that just gets in the way would be a terrible step backwards.Rather than making it optional to start at a lower level, how about the job starts off lower by default but you can buy an xp boosting consumable? I don't know if it would cost gil, or tomestones, or whatever else. It shouldn't come at so high a price that it's a problem for anyone to buy them, but it shouldn't be a negligible cost either. Just enough so players can weigh their options, and decide if it's worth it for them to fast-track the new job or level normally at their leisure.
