I agree this sucks. Really would like more in-game ways to get mounts and past events items ect. This is nothing new though, given how Odins mount was the first one you could buy whe the shop launched and I am not completely opposed to a option shop like this, but it feels kinda like more things are going there lately.

Exactly lmao and it's not even some grand conspiracy. Frustrated people quit, satisfied people stay. The white knights want to pretend it's a small minority complaining when they ARE the minority. They'll tell you how most people are satisfied but in reality most FF14 players can't even make it past ARR because it's so god-awful boring.

Square Enix should be THANKFUL people are even complaining.

On the one hand I'm glad to see that some people aren't willing to put up with this, on the other I know most of them will have either forgiven SE for it or have bought it themselves by the end of the week.
