It's not just OP. It's an actual issue sadly.
I guess Yoshi P doesn't really want a lot of the NA crowd on his game anymore.
Seriously, Yoshi-P obviously focusing too much on FFXVI

I haven't had any issues, except a few weeks ago when my HoH run was interrupted by a momentary lag spike that I've never really experienced before.
In other news, there is no technical debt from 1.0.
"We don't have ... a technological issue that was carried over from 1.0, because ARR was meant to kind of discard what we had from 1.0 and rebuild it from the engine."

Yeah AT&T users in Central US and toward the East Coast are getting hosed the past couple of days. That's the commonality we all seem to have in the thread on the tech forums. Once things hit the NTT nodes, they start slowing down and at the Sacramento node latency goes into the toilet. Getting the runaround from AT&T but not sure SE can really do anything about it because it seems to be an issue with AT&T and their transfer of traffic over to NTT.
AT&T user.
Having troubles with slight lag spikes last few days.
Not even surprised by this news.
In the past, SE's techs have contacted the techs of the affected ISP to get the situation worked out when enough players reported an issue.Yeah AT&T users in Central US and toward the East Coast are getting hosed the past couple of days. Players get the runaround from the ISP because they're talking to the customer support level techs who can handle "did you try rebooting your router" type issues and not the senior techs.
SE may not be able to do anything directly to solve the issue but they're in a better position to talk to those with the power to get it fixed.
AT&T also has the outsourcing issue where you can't understand what someone is saying half the time. I'm pleased with the service itself but I avoid their support like the plague unless there's no other choice. In the past, SE's techs have contacted the techs of the affected ISP to get the situation worked out when enough players reported an issue.
