Also having problems and don't want to create another thread.Greetings fellow Eorzean,
I'm sorry to hear that you have been experiencing these connectivity issues. Does the lagging lead to a full disconnect from the game? If you do get disconnected, do you get any error messages? I would also like to ask on what platform you are playing the game on and if you are using a wired or wireless connection?
We hope we can be of assistance with this. Thank you for visiting the FINAL FANTASY XIV Technical Support Forums!

Receiving 90002 Error when disconnected.
Tanks are the earth. Healers are the sun. DPS are the asteroids bouncing around the universe asking if anyone saw how they wiped out those dinosaurs.
Also do not want to start a separate thread, but am having issues with lag spikes affecting actions taking place and outright 90002 disconnection error.Greetings fellow Eorzean,

I can confirm that I'm also experiencing this lag ever since the last maintenance. It seems to get worse the longer I'm online without restarting and can be bad enough to be unplayable, making even single weaves impossible. I am on a stable connection, no external programs are lagging, ping tests and speed tests come back normal. It is only FF14.
I'll add in my issues as well; only really happened during PvP matches when there's a lot of people on my screen. Sending numbers are usually normal, but Receiving numbers will rocket into the 10k or higher, and there was some insane input lag that I don't think I've ever had happen since we were on the old JP servers before migrating back in 2.x. No disconnects, but it's hard to play content when you're lagging bad enough to think you'll disconnect.
PC Standalone Client, hardwired.

this seems to be the issue.
what i see are herky jerky movements from the other players and then when i attack.. it doesn't register immediate to continue on my cycle. and i have to wait.. alot of the time you wont the aoe attacks and you get killed because the system doesn't show you what is happening..
any idea on when a fix might be incoming?
Yep, there's an issue between AT&T and NTT it seems
I think everyone I've seen post in this thread has been AT&T
If anyone's a different ISP, it might be valuable to add that information

Yes, and in the other thread, we got a reply from an SE Community Rep.
They also acknowledged it on socials: https://twitter.com/FF_XIV_EN/status...63004749402114
Spouse and I having same issues.
No disconnect. Just constant lag every 5-10 seconds. Everyone freezes for 2 or 3 seconds then go flying across the room. Happens mostly in the evenings/night.
Packet loss is happening somewhere between us and SE servers as other applications are not showing any packet loss at the same time these lag spikes are happening.
We're both on PC. Wired connections.
Hello fellow Warriors of Light!
I just spoke to AT&T (as recommended by Yoshi's team: https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...6a07e92f6a0f29
Here was AT&T's response:
I have checked in over the network lines, and the team has indeed reported a know issue for which the case is being worked upon. To assist you best upon the issue being cleared over the backend server, I would also like to help open a dedicated port over your router as well, so that the game can indeed function smoothly over the intended device. Would that be okay with you?
For the tech savvy: Go to your modem's Firewall setup page in your browser, and open the port range: 2031-2032 with the base port at 2031.
Non-tech savvy: Go to https://www.att.com/support/internet/ and scroll to the bottom to chat with a rep or call 800-288-2020. Tell them about the issue with the lag while playing Final Fantasy XIV, and ask them to open the port range: 2031-2032 with the base port at 2031 on your router for you.
