For context on this claim, I used to have a signature that had a stereotypical message of a white knight that included things like "we should be grateful that SE gives us scraps". VelKallor here decided to actually agree with the statement in my signature, thus I told them that they must be a white knight then. VelKallor is deliberately leaving key information out.

Youve used this phrase with several people, again we both know this to be true. Spare me the equivocation. Y'know, I used to have a forum troll elsewhere who said I had a "greeting card" attitude....in all truth? Id rather be that than his, or others cynical, hardened, ungrateful and at times callous worldview.

I see a lot of good in the game , respect the devs for the huge efforts they have put in, have enjoyed the game immensely. I respect and absolutely admire YoshiP for the work he has put in..and tbh, mate?

Speaking as a gamer for at least the last thirty years or more? As someone who played Pong on a huge wooden cabinet platform at 20 cents a game?

FF 14 is head and shoulders above a HUGE swathe of games I have seen and played in that time. The story content alone has been amazing.

I remember seeing him when the game delay was announced, he was exhausted, looked like he hadnt slept at all, given the comparison between his and the devs dedication, to people like Blizzard? He is also the one that turned 1.0 into the giant we see today..speaks volumes for his work and vision.

Id agree here as well, SE have done their level best, given the fact FF 14 is literally walking all over Blizzard in terms of content, longevity, innovation, content, story writing and gameplay..again its an accurate statement. The comment "anything at all" refers more to the fact the game can be shut down at any time. Id also add that that statement was made when COVID was still at its peak, when people were crying about servers despite the fact that there were NONE TO BE HAD...Yoshi stated they even offered MORE than the servers were worth, and still got nowhere.

No game is perfect, no one ever said it was..but between Ion and his "D" team vs the excellence of Shadowbringers and Endwalker?

I know which one I prefer.
