It's still a huge pain to have those issues because someone decided to link our accounts with Steam and let us have twice the amount of outages \o/

Radicilous, taking the day off, waiting for servers to launch only to see the steam launch is fucked again. Square i do not care about money, pls give us the chance to mitigate, if if we pay for the process of creating new accounts, buying new editions and paying for character transfer

Nice to know I'm not alone in this. I've had a few months of random errors (the usual ctd, swap between directX9 and 11, depends on if it's raining or not, reinstalls, updates, leaves on the line, wrong sort of snow, yada yada) and finally a new one to add to the bingo card. Yay.

I've had years of stability on Steam, but the last few months have been decidedly poor! If I hadn't paid a six month sub, I'd've just bounced off already.

Yeah, I'm for migrating too. If not, I'll be re-themeing my blog, that's for sure.

As one of the many voices that wants this PLEASE let us migrate off of Steam and onto Windows. PLEASE. Their login stupidity is one of my biggest petpeeves for the game, it's unfair that we are required to login via the steam launcher when it's down so much that it's not worth playing right now. If anything happens to the steam launcher while I'm in 14, even an update, it kicks me out of the game and then I get a 'a technical issue has happened' instead of being able to log back in. I'm tired of having to cater to Steam's demands that we only launch the game from their platform and this was a lot more stable when we could just use the --issteam command in the launcher icon. There's no fixing their login issues, they've been happening for years, please let us migrate to normal windows and get the hell off the steam launcher.
