[Suggestion(?)] Viera ears: An edit and opinion

Hi there forums! Been a while. Been busy with life (and stress...)

Anyway, I was looking at the Viera we have in FFXIV, and I couldn't help but notice that their ears are pretty close together, placed on the top of their heads. I went and looked at the FFXII variants, and saw that their ears were further apart, the ears placed closer to the side. Wondering how it would look like if our FFXIV Bun Bun's had their ears like that, I went and made this quick (not very good) edit in Photoshop.





Now, personally I think I'd prefer the ears to be closer to the sides of the head. To me it feels a little more, I don't know, natural? (As natural as bunny ears can look on a humanoid anyway XD) I could be wrong though. What do you guys think?

I personally feel the ears are a little too high up on the head, but if my version is too extreme too, perhaps the ears could be placed in an area between where they are now and how I put them?

Hmm, IDK. Here em Brasil we call these ones by "coruja orelhuda", it's like "eared owl" or "owl with big ears".

Even though it doesn't make sense for the ears to be so high on the top of the head, I particularly liked it that way.

As for the ears, that's cool too! Everyone has their own opinion. Now you got me wishing we had more options for the ear placement XD more options is always good

It would be nice to have the possibility to change some racial traits, like moving horns, ears, etc. But there's a reason I don't see this happening: SE is very lazy.

Three years to deliver what they promised for Hrothgars and Vieras, and look what came: Earless wigs. For vieras, they didn't even adjust the forehead size, which makes most of both races continue to use the old models.

Now imagine if they had to adjust their hair for every ear fit. Something I'd imagine them doing back in the day, but nowadays, they'd rather cut off the ears of the Miqo'te, than support an already well-established race, let alone the new races.

The viera from FFXII (ivalice) look 10000x better than the ffxiv Viera- I want more armor & hairs that are made for Viera
I don't want the existing XIV hairs- they look horrible & aren't adjusted properly.

More than anything though, I want the Ear design they have. I want the spots & the ear placement fixed.

TBH playing around with the creator the only thing that bugged me was the lack of a floppy bunny ear option where the ears lay down the sides from the base. The closest we have is that crimped or hinged style that bends halfway.

But we're also missing another point. We have a huge race that can't wear hats, a medium race that can't wear hats... we now need a tiny race that can't wear hats... >.> lol
